ETYMON (2010), constructed on an electronic Jacquard loom at the Oriole Mill in North Carolina, is 10 feet wide by 30 feet long and is woven using a fine Egyptian cotton.
Visually the abstract patterns are composed from 39 online digital images of objects within a single museum collection. The work has varying configurations.
